MONASTERY AGIORITIKO WHITE

VARIETIES: There is no prevalent variety: it is a mixture of 8-10 varieties which can be found in the vineyards of monoxilitis, in Agion Oros which belongs to the monastery of Dionysios. This vineyard is over 800 years old. Old Greek varieties are combined with the French ones of Sauvignon Blanc and chardonnay which have been planted the last few years.

FLAVOURS: Generally of flowers jasmine and of dried nuts, almond, hazel-nut, etc.

GENERAL: Wine absolutely balanced rich in taste, delicate, long-lasting flower aromas.

COMBINATIONS: Good with fish and other shell-fish, and with white meats with light sauces. Can be drunk also by it self.

SERVED TEMPERATURE: 8 - 10˚C
